Mission Statement:

Rights and Empowerment - Students Inquiring for Solutions Together is a group aimed at promoting dialogues which question the dominant paradigms of aide and humanitarianism. We provide a platform for NYU students to explore their role as empowered student activists in the field of human rights within global movements. We aim to facilitate discussions and events which examine how we, as Western students, can stand in solidarity with global human rights struggles and work towards empowering these movements rather than dominating them.
