OSA GOLD LEADERSHIP PROGRAMSOCIAL JUSTICE TRACK – MOVING THE CENTER*: REDISCOVERING NOTIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND ADVOCACYThe Social Justice Track is a semester-long program designed to provide students with an opportunity to examine social justice and human rights issues, movements, and practices, therefore nurturing the development of future change agents and socially-aware leaders. The track will allow students to engage in personal reflection and dialogue about historical and current social justice concerns, while obtaining necessary organizing skills and critically analyzing resistance and social change movements.Students will develop a greater understanding of social justice, specifically in relation to human rights and advocacy, through on-campus discussion sessions, participation in online community discussion, and off-campus arts and media experiences, such as films, exhibitions, and performances.
