OSA GOLD LEADERSHIP PROGRAMLEADERSHIP TRACKThe Leadership Track is composed of two sections. The goal of the first section, Compelling Leadership, is to support all interested NYU students as one begins an initial examination of self. This includes a personal values and beliefs system, individual leadership styles, ethical decision-making, servant leadership, cross-cultural dialogue, and citizenship. The second section, Visionary Leadership, will utilize the skills taught in Compelling Leadership and challenge students to develop into visionary leaders; forward-thinking individuals who are interested in the possibilities of tomorrow.
StructureCompelling Leadership, the first track of the program, is offered both in the fall and spring semesters; Visionary Leadership, the second track, is offered only in the spring semester.Compelling LeadershipSpring 2008Sessions will be held on the following Fridays from 2PM - 4PM in the OSA Conference Room, Kimmel Center, 704J.

April 11 Visionary LeadershipSpring 2008This track is for student leaders who have completed the Compelling Leadership track, the Fall '07 Civic Engagement track, or have participated in the OSA Alternative Break program. This track will help you further develop your personal leadership skills by assisting you create your own personal vision. Having the ability to create and work toward a vision is a challenging feat even for the most successful leaders. This training will help you work toward becoming a great leader. As a participant in this track, you will also be planning and hosting the OSA Youth Leaders Conference, on Saturday, April 12, 2008 in the Kimmel Center. This includes all details from conference and event planning to conducting workshops on various topics. To apply for this track, please email Michelle Luff at michelle.luff@nyu.edu. Please include a short statement (100-200 words) as to why you would like to be a participant in the Visionary Leadership track. Sessions will be held in the OSA Conference Room, Kimmel Center, 704J.
