Living CommunitiesGreek Leadership Living and Learning CommunitiesFraternity and sorority residential housing has been a long-standing tradition at NYU. Fraternity and Sorority Life collaborates with the Department of Residential Education to provide living as well as learning communities that foster growth in academic achievement, leadership, social responsibility, community building, and individual and organizational development. Resident Assistants, Peer Educators, Graduate Advisors, and professional staff provide resources and support for each fraternity and sorority living in residence. Our "vertical Fraternity and Sorority Row" is located in the Lafayette Residence hall in Chinatown. Suites on the top four floors, including 4 penthouse suites, make up our fraternity and sorority houses. Our houses consist of suites that hold up to 13 residents and have amenities such as: internet, cable, phone, laundry facilities, hard wood floors, 24-hour security, spacious common areas, and full service kitchens. |
