The 194 Recordings label was founded in 2007 as part of the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at NYU. Specializing in locally produced and created content, the label is now capitalizing on the evolving music industry by focusing on digital marketing and distribution of its audio-visual content. 194 Recordings seeks to define the characteristically fluid NYU music scene by creating a community for musicians and music fanatics alike.
